Do all designer sunglasses come with a certificate of authenticity?

Dominos Pizza asked:

For example, Gucci. If you go to a store and see a pair of Gucci sunglasses, do they come with a certificate of authenticity so that you know you’re buying the real thing?
Also, how do you destinguish a fake certificate from a real one?
How do you know you’re not getting ripped…….?

The fake ones have that too! The spelling’s usually better (but not perfect!) on the originals.

LOL I have no idea… that crap is RIDICULOUS!! I don’t pay for brand names, half the time they’re not even that cute and when they are I can get a knock off that look JUST as good down the street. Is someone going to come up to be me and say “if you’re really wearing Gucci, PROVE IT?!” How bout “If you really paid that much money for a face accessory, you should be shot!” When it comes to buying the product for the brand name, they world has just gone to hell….

well it’s not exactly a “certificate” perse. you’ll be getting like, a product leaflet and a receipt.

better ask for a warranty. =)

Totally agree with Missa. =)
And yes, fakers are really good these days with “being on par” with the originals. Get some eyedrops ready if you’re gonna start hunting for the right deal! =)
