Can anyone tell me the difference between designer sunglasses and fake ones?
Specifically Coach and Christian Dior sunglasses?
I’m not looking to BUY any designer glasses. I already have some in my possession that I am planning on selling. I’m just not sure if they are fake or not, therefore I’m not sure where to start the bidding.

really its just the brand, most fakes can look real. my friend has a fake juicy necklace and unless you really LOOKED at it, you wouldnt know. i say go fake for now, and one day, just splurge and buy the ones you want. but right now, it doesnt really matter.
you shouldnt care wether their designer or not as long as you like them, they look all the same to me.
Smartbutdumb is absolutely wrong. One way to tell cheapos from the real thing is to look at the structure. If you have an eye for this, you will be able to see right away whether they are good one or not. Another way to tell is pay close attention to the edges on the arms. If they have an all plastic frame, you will see mold residues on the edges of the arms. Also, genuine ones will have the designer’s name on the inside of the frame. Cheap ones will only say “CHINA” If they have a metal frame, pay close attention to the ends of the arms, these will also have residue. Mostly on the tip. Run the tip on your index around the edges and you will see what I am talking about. The ultimate way to know is. If you buy them from a street vendor for 10 or 20 bucks, You’re not getting the real thing.
If you want designer buy designer. Don’t buy fakes. You get what you pay for. They won’t last a long time and they are illegal. Besides you obviously care about having the logo of the designer just to look trendy. If you just wanted sunglasses for their true purpose then you would buy some plain old sunglasses that can’t be linked to a designer they just do what they are suppose to do. If you want sunglasses that are trendy like coach, louis vuitton, etc. then just spend the money. If you don’t think the money is worth it then buy cheap, but don’t try to imitate a designer for that look.
Fashionista Diamond, I’m pretty sure she wasn’t looking for a lecture.
There are lots of differences, like the Louis Vuitton glasses only have the LV logo, or the cool diamond pattern thing.
Also, where they were made- look on the inside of the glasses. Designer glasses aren’t made in China.
Sadly I don’t know anything about Dior or Coach, sorry. ![]()

same thing. just the “coach” and “christian dior” engraved or printed on them that makes it so precious.
